Originally from Columbus, GA, Gabi “Stinky” VanHorn packed up at the age of 20 and moved to Nashville, TN. It was there she fell in love with the art of hand crafted signage and teamed up with Meghan Wood of I Saw The Sign, forming the dream team that would go on to paint signs all over town and beyond, from New York City to the Virgin Islands. They painted signs for everyone, from the small mom n pop shops to the big guys like Patagonia & Starbucks.

After six years with I Saw The Sign, Gabi ventured back south with her husband and baby boy Bandit, and formed Stinky Signs. Particularly inspired by folk art, old signs, and truck lettering, Stinky Signs aims to meet your modern needs with a touch of hand crafted quality that you just don’t get with vinyl.

When she’s not painting signs, you can find Gabi romping about their homestead in Waverly, AL, tending to the pigs & chickens with a baby on her back.
